In brief

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and loads no content from third-party servers. Fonts and videos are served from the same server as the site. There is no contact form. Personal data is processed only briefly while the site is delivered and when you send us an email.

Hosting

The website is hosted by: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.

With every request, the server automatically processes data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, requested address, the previously visited page (referrer), and browser and operating system (user agent). This data is technically necessary to deliver the site. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and error-free operation of the website.

No access logs are kept: the server does not store this data but processes it only for as long as it takes to deliver the page.

Recipients of this data are the host (Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) and an IT service provider we have commissioned to operate the website technically.

Contact by email

If you send us an email, we process your email address, your name if you provide it, and the content of your message in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is answering your enquiry. We delete the data once the enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

The mailbox is operated by: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data processing is governed by the Google Workspace terms; we accepted the Cloud Data Processing Addendum on 4 October 2026.

Clicking “Request a conversation” opens your own email program. The website itself does not transmit any data in the process.

No cookies, no analytics, no third-party services

The website neither stores information on your device nor reads information from it. There is no audience measurement, no social media plug-in and no embedded maps or videos from third parties.

Your rights

You have the right to

• access the data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and
• object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Postfach 1349, 91504 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.
